Comments on 2015 A Level H2 Maths Paper 1

The 2015 A Level H2 Maths Paper 1 questions are standard except for Question 3 and Question 9.

Question 3 on finding approximate and actual area under curve is not of the usual standard type. Students may find this question difficult to comprehend unless they had solved this type of question before.

Question 4 on finding maximum area is similar to a question in the Specimen Paper provided by MOE for A Level exam from 2007.

Question 9 on Complex Numbers may also be tough for some students if they are not familiar with different types of questions set on Complex Numbers, especially Q9(b)(ii).

Please refer to the H2 Maths A Level 2015 P1 solutions for these non-standard questions.
